1. Who We Are

Songelidoo ("we", "us") operates an AI song-gifting platform. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights over it.

2. What We Collect

  • Account data: your name and email address when you register.
  • Song content: the recipients, details, occasions, lyrics and preferences you enter to generate songs.
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • Usage data: basic analytics such as pages viewed and songs played, to improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to create and deliver your songs, operate and improve the Service, process payments, provide support, and comply with legal obligations. Song details you enter are processed by our AI providers solely to generate your song.

4. Sharing & Publishing

Songs start as Only me. You can choose Anyone with the link, which creates an unguessable access link without listing the song publicly, or Public on Songelidoo, which makes it discoverable in our library and eligible for charts and Radio. Opening a valid access link while signed in may add the song to your Shared with me collection. Public visibility never by itself gives Songelidoo permission to promote a song on our official social channels; that requires a separate, optional consent. We share data with service providers (such as hosting, AI generation and Stripe) strictly to run the Service, and never sell your personal data.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your songs at any time and request account deletion by contacting us.

6. Data Retention & Security

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no system is completely secure.
